The Spice Colony

The Spice Colony is an upscale Sri Lankan specialty restaurant designed to reposition authentic island culinary traditions into a modern, high-end fine dining experience. The visual identity avoids cliché rustic ornaments, opting instead for a sophisticated colonial-minimalist aesthetic that reflects the historic convergence of global maritime trade and local spice cultivation.

The complete asset library was assembled into a detailed corporate food-and-beverage brand manual. It dictates comprehensive rules for exterior architecture sign-off, dynamic sub-branding for custom retail spice blends, takeaway material sustainability, and uniform apparel guidelines—ensuring absolute visual uniformity from the entry greeting to the final digital receipt.
